Kuroko no Basuke Season 3

Image

The 25th episode of the popular sport anime series entitled “Kuroko no Basuke” was released today. Thus, bringing the second season into its closure. Many fans of the series are wondering and keep on asking, if there will be a continuation for the said series. The possible response for the question is definitely a “yes”. The image above hints that there will surely be a third season for the series. (Obviously, they wouldn’t put “see you” on the down left corner of the end card if there’s no continuation for the anime adaptation) Not just that! The picture below also shows a hint. It also serves as a cliffhanger for the viewers…(Well, KNB manga readers knows this character) I don’t wanna spout who he is. Just read the manga if you really wanna know.

The second season ended with Seirin being triumphant over Yosen. There are more matches after this, and info to be unveiled, so a third season is a must.

Now, the solely unanswered question is when it’s going to be released. Base on what I’ve heard, it will most likely air on 2015. From the reliable, but unofficial source, it was stated that July 2015 is the TENTATIVE airing month for the third season. Don’t worry, it’s NOT confirmed yet.

For now, all we can do is to wait patiently for the confirmation of the third season, and for the announcement of its official airing date.

My anime confessions

I’m not into confessions thingy before, but since I’ve tried to make one this day, I’ve realized that it can help me express my hidden feelings, so I decided that I’ll make one or more during my leisure time from school.

My Kuroko no Basuke Confessions

1.) “I’m absolutely thankful to my mom due to the fact that she became my path in being an avid KNB fan.”

2.) “I’m going to claim a lie if I say that I didn’t became this hype in watching KNB because of Kuroko.”

3.) “At first, I perceive Kise as a ordinary bishie basketball player, but as the other episodes proceeds, my viewpoint of him have varied and he’s now currently placed as top 1 in my fave characters list generally.”

4.)  “I sometimes hate Aomine due to his cocky attitude, but I also like him simultaneously”

5.)  “I want Seirin to go home as the champion of Winter Cup. However, if they win this match against Rakuzan, it will turn out that everything’s possible in just emerging mere teamwork and hardship. On the other side, if Rakuzan is fated to get this match, Akashi is going to remain in the way he used to be, which will fail Kuroko’s goal to variate all the GOM in terms of Basketball means. I wonder what will be the resolve of KNB creator regarding this matter.”

7.) “Kuroko no Basket is one of the anime series that I’ll preciously cherish in the rest of my life.”

My Shingeki no Kyojin Confessions

1.) “Personally, Eren’s personality was a big turn off at first, but his awesome moves have blotted it out.”

2.) “I resented Levi at his first debut in the anime because of his personality, but seeing him more in action made me feel that he has a hidden soft spot in his heart.”

3.) “Shingeki no Kyojin is one of the anime series I’ll never get myself to forget in the rest of my life.”

4.) “Since I’ve commenced in watching Shingeki no Kyojin, I can’t help myself but to do their salute pose every time we were holding a flag ceremony in school.”

5.) “If I were a boy, I’ll definitely have a thing for Mikasa.”

My Prince of Tennis Confessions

1.) “Prince of Tennis is the anime series that made me an anime enthusiast, so I owe a lot in this series.”

Here are my other confessions (as an otaku):

1.) “I’m so delighted that I became a part of anime fandom. If it weren’t for anime, I don’t think I’ll be able to acquire what I have now.”

2.) “I grew up without any siblings, peers, and relatives who were included in the same age group as me, but anime has filled up all those secondary demands of mine.”

3.) “Anime is my escape from reality.”

4.) “I may be a unsociable and a completely isolated being, but I have a very reliable buddy, which is anime.”

5.) “Prevalent individuals perceives otaku as an odd group. However, I don’t give a damn about those people because there’s nothing malicious in my interests.”

6.) “If I didn’t became an otaku, I might ended up in a complicated way of life like the other teenagers does.”

7.) “I usually tends to raise my head every time I achieve something great to show that it’s the outcome of anime in me.”

Shingeki no Kyojin episode 22 Overview/Summary

Image

By the time I saw the preview for this episode, I thought that it will be an action-packed episode depicting Mikasa, Levi, and the female titan. But suddenly, my assumption was blown by the wind. It became a tear-jerking episode that tortured my heart.

Image

(Levi and Mikasa teamed up)

Anyway, the first scene of the episode is so intense. It shows Levi discapacitating the female titan with the help of Mikasa’s assist. Even though, their team-up is enormous and their rescue plan is going smoothly, Levi’s right foot was injured when Mikasa suddenly jumped out and aim for the nape of female titan (which is not included in their plan) that caused him a “handicap.”

(Levi facing the female titan)

Later on, after they have discapacitated the female titan and have taken back Eren in their custody, the female titan was apparently crying (or she really does; I do think that it’s because of the strikes she got). Going to the next scene, the soldiers of Survey Corps was shown organizing the corpses that were recovered.

(The corpses of the soldiers)

There were two soldiers asking Commander Erwin to recover the body of their acquaintance/close friend that was surrounded by titans. Commander Erwin rejected their request, as well as Levi, to avoid adding up some casualties in their hands. As they proceed in returning inside the wall, the two soldiers earlier have recovered the corpse of their close friend, but in exchange, they were being chase by the titans.

Due to the unfortunate fact that there are no buildings around, the only option they have in their hands is to abandon the corpses to accelerate their pace, so that they can outrun the titans without indulging in a fight with them. As the bodies are being thrown out from the cart, their faces were conquered by gloominess, especially Levi, after seeing Petra’s body being thrown out.

After a few moments, Eren has suddenly dreamed about what happened in the past (but there’s a little variation). Mikasa wake him up as she sees Eren having a nightmare.

Another few moments have passed, they have finally arrived in the inner walls, where they met people’s lament. At the same time, Petra’s father approached Levi, saying things such as “Well, as her father, she’s too young to marry, and she have to experience many things first.” (In the words of Petra’s father, it was hinted that Petra has feelings for Levi, and apparently, wants to marry him).

On the other hand, Eren saw the two children he spotted peeping earlier in a window of a house before they held their excursion for taking back his old home (in the 16th or 17th episode).

As the two children possesses cheerful faces, Eren suddenly unleashed an unexpected wailing due to his remorse.

   Author’s comment:

As what I have mentioned in the start of this review, I thought that this episode will be teem by action and intense feeling, but I was wrong. I didn’t truly shed a single drop of tear in this episode, but my heart was conquered by grief. Anyway, I really love this episode despite of having gloomy scenes. Addition to that, I realized in this episode that Levi is not an entirely heartless jerk that doesn’t give a damn to the people around him. In fact, he’s a kind and caring person, (well, it’s not obvious to his looks though) He just threw his human emotions to lessen the nuisances and burden while opposing the titans. And due to that fact, I can continue to love/ him without thinking anything else, but Eren is still my no. 1.

Author’s rating for this episode: 10/10

Kanji:

Seid ihr das Essen?
Nein, wir sind der Jäger!

English:

Seid ihr das Essen?
Nein, wir sind der Jäger!

Without knowing the name of the trampled flowers
The birds that fell to the ground are waiting for the wind

Praying won’t change anything
What will change the depressing situation is how ready you are to fight…

Oh, the pigs sneering at our will to advance as we step over corpses
The livestock may be at peace…in their phony prosperity …But let us be “free” like the dying, starving wolves!

The humiliation of being trapped signals our counterattack; you’re a hunter who slaughters the prey beyond the castle walls
While you’re consumed by a raging bloodlust, what pierces the scarlet at dusk is―

the crimson bow and arrow
